Activities for your wellbeing

The activities we offer are hybrid (face-to-face with Zoom). The activities range from aerobics, dance, relaxation classes such as Chi Kung, Tai Chi, yoga, Pilates and Feldenkrais.

If you are artistic, we offer a weekly art session in hybrid form, in addition to a peer led knitting and crocheting group.

All our social activities are slowly being reintroduced for spring and summer. There are opportunities visits to Kew Gardens, tour Arsenal Stadium, plus see shows at Sadlers Wells.

COVID safety continues to be in operation. We strongly advise our patrons and visitors to test, using lateral flow test, before attending, to safeguard vulnerable adults, and to reduce spread of the virus. If you test positive, you are required to follow current protocol on self-isolation.

Fees schedule:  

As a charity we, subsidise our activities by charging a small fee of £20 per term. Each term is 11/12 weeks long.

  • Term 1/Q1: April – June
  • Term 2/Q2: July – Sep
  • Term 3/Q4: Oct – Dec
  • Term 4/Q4: Jan – Mar

Wednesdays

10.00 – 11.00 Hatha Yoga Location: Pembury Community Centre. Bring your own water.

11.30 – 12.30 Men’s Fitness Club Men’s only class. Based on ground floor. Suitable for wheelchair, people with limited mobility. Bring your own exercise band and water.

1.00 – 2.00 Women’s Seated Fitness Women’s only class. Based on ground floor. Suitable for wheelchair, people with limited mobility. Bring your own exercise band and water.

3.15 – 4.15 ATM (Awareness Through Movement) (Zoom only) Online only. Floor based, require a yoga mat. Contact us for the Zoom link. Feldenkrais class.

Thursdays

9.45 – 10.45 Pilates 

11.00 – 12.00 Zumba 

12.30 – 1.30 ATM – Awareness Through Movement (Zoom only)

2.00 – 3.00 Fun seated exercise Wheelchair accessible, chairbased (suitable for all level). Based on ground floor. Suitable for wheelchair, people with limited mobility. Bring your own exercise band and water.

3.00 – 4.00 Yoga Afternoon 

Fridays

10.00 – 11.00 Tai Chi 

11.15 – 12.45 Walks – just up your street
